Hello I'm Caroline! I recently graduated with a  Digital Filmmaking Degree at Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University.

 

As a storyteller, I want to use film & photography mediums to share my ideas and thoughts by capturing the mood or emotion that can be associated with a story. I want my viewers to be able to connect with that emotion and bring their own lives into the content of the narrative.

 

Combining my passions I have recently developed an excitement towards to social media due to its universal accessibility. I have realized the great potential of combining these two mediums to make prospering work.

 

In the past I have worked with Columbia Records as a Digital Media Marketing Intern. I would be given tasks creating promo videos, instagram campaigns, and more. At the Michael J Fox  Foundation I was in charge of editing videos, overseeing shoots, and working creatively to come up with video topics.

My most recent film was a documentary thesis film called "Inclusion" about the struggles of a third grade classroom. Inclusion  won the Grand jury Prize at the New Lens Film Festival. While I have also completed projects for Jack Daniels Porsche filming and photographing their launch events.  I also worked on a shoot for the Garden City Hotel in Long Island NY featuring celebrity Chef David Burke.

As I have developed my Filmmaking skills I have also enhanced my Digital Marketing skills. At Balls Vodka I worked as content creator specifically for their Tik Tok. My tasks included researching trends, engaging with the niche, creating videos, and collaborating with influencers. From there I became a Production Coordinator for InvenTel. This role required management skills, production assisting, administration, and preproduction scheduling.

Currently I am a Social Media Manager and Content Creator for Restaurant Media Group. This role has lead me to take on more of a leader role in terms of content creation, training, organizing with other employees, and researching SEO. 

 

A  Personal Project I am proud of is my podcast "20 Questions Deep". This is a Podcast where I ask people in their 20's to answer 20 deep questions to share their perspective on life.
